Nucleation in binary cavitating systems is described with the multicomponent form of the classical nucleation theory (CNT). Four binary mixtures are studied, diethylether – nitro- gen, propane – carbon dioxide, isobutane – carbon dioxide, and chlorodifluoromethane – carbon dioxide, whose experimental nu- cleation rates are available in the literature.
