Mesoporous molecular sieves represent a new family of inorganic oxides with regular nanostructure, large surface areas, large void volumes, and narrow pore size distribution of mesopores. These materials offer new possibilities for designing highly active and selective catalysts for olefin metathesis and metathesis polymerization. Siliceous sieves MCM-41, MCM-48, SBA-15, and organized mesoporous alumina (OMA) were used as supports for preparation of new molybdenum and rhenium oxide catalysts, as well as for heteronization of well-defined homogeneous catalysts. Mesoporézní molekulová síta představují novou skupinu anorganických oxidů s pravidelnou nanostrukturou, velkým povrchem, velkým mezerovým objemem a úzkou distribucí velikosti mezopórů. Tyto materiály nabízejí nové možnosti pro vývoj vysoce aktivních a selektivních katalyzátorů metateze olefinů a polymerizace metatezí. Křemíkatá síta MCM-41, MCM-48 a SBA-15 a organizovaná mezoporézní alumina (OMA) byly použity jako nosiče pro přípravu nových katalyzátorů na bázi kysličníků molybdenu nebo rhenia a také pro heterogenizaci „dobře definovaných“ homogenních katalyzátorů metateze.
