The performance of Fe-MFI zeolites in N2O- and O2-meditaed conversion of propane to propene and oxygenates has been investigated over a set of calcined and steamed Fe-MFI (Si/Al = 12 - 620) catalysts containing iron originally in the framework, in cationic sites and as oxide-like supported Fe species. All the catalysts exhibited very low activity in oxidation of propane by molecular oxygen, whereas in the propane reaction with nitrous oxide the propene yield was up to 20%, besides formation of other oxygenates. The results of UV-Vis and EPR spectroscopy and reaction kinetic tests enabled to suggest that very small part of the well-isolated Fe-species is extremely active in propane oxidation by nitrous oxide following the %22propane - propanol - propene - propanal - COx%22 reaction pathway. Byla zjišťována úloha Fe-MFI zeolitů při konversi propanu na propylen a a další oxidační produkty působením N2O popř. O2. Byla použita řada Fe-MFI katalyzátorů (Si/Al=20-620), obsahujících Fe v mřížce zeolitů, v kationtových pozicích a Fe-O specie.Všechny katalyzátory vykazovaly velmi nízkou aktivitu při oxidaci propanu molekulárním kyslíkem, zatímco při oxidaci propanu N2O se výtěžek propylenu zvyšuje o 20%, a vznikají další oxidační produkty. Výsledky UV-VIS a EPR spektroskopie a kinetické testy umožnily navrhnout reakční cestu pro oxidaci propanu N2O na velmi malé části izolovaných Fe-centrech, která jsou extrémně aktivní.
