We introduced a novel biological reactor with immobilized white rot fungus Irpex lacteus for textile dye degradation. Residence time distribution (RTD) was measured in this reactor and these experimental data were used to determine parameters of gamma distribution model (GDM), which was used to characterize hydrodynamics of liquid flow in the reactor. Series of batch azo dye Reactive Orange 16 degradation experiments were carried out.
