This work is dealing with description of flotation experiment from standpoint of bubbles - their size, rise velocity and shape. Bubble rise velocity is a complicated function of the bubble geometry, the physical properties of the medium, and the physicochemical properties of the gas-liquid interface. Bubbles size, velocity and shape are measured experimentally using image analysis method (software LUCIA). All experiments are provided in aqueous medium and in aqueous solution of different flotation agents (frother and depressor). Bubble rise velocities are compared with the calculated ones. Tato práce se zabývá popisem flotačního experimentu z hlediska bublin - jejich velikosti, stoupavá rychlosti a tvaru. Stoupavá rychlost bublin je komplikovaná funkce geometrie bubliny, fyzikálních vlastností média a fyzikálně - chemických vlastností na rozhraní vzduch - kapalina. Velikosti bublin, rychlosti a tvary byli měřeny experimentálně s použitím systému obrazové analýzy Lucia. Všechny experimenty byly provedeny ve vodných roztocích různých flotačních činidel (pěniče a depresory). Stoupavá rychlost bubliny byla porovnána s vypočítanou rychlostí.
