The discrete element method is used for the modeling of the particle morphogenesis. Catalyst carrier or nascent polymer particle is discretized into micro-elements with binary and ternary interactions acting among individual micro-elements. Force interactions are considered to be visco-elastic, and are governed by the equations of Maxwell, Kelvin or a three parametric model. The movement of micro-elements is governed by the Newton's law and a first order reaction kinetics is considered for the growth of micro-elements. Discrete element modeling allows to describe the filling of the pore of the catalyst, the fragmentation of the catalyst carrier and the morphogenesis of polymer particle. Metoda diskrétních elementů je využita pro modelování morfogeneze částic. Nosič katalyzátoru nebo rostoucí částice polymeru jsou diskretizovány na mikro-elementy s binárními a ternárními silovými interakcemi. Silové interakce jsou visko-elastické. Pohyb mikro-elementů je popsán Newtonovými zákony a růst mikro-elementů je popsán kinetikou prvního řádu. Toto modelování umožňuje popsat zaplňování pórů katalyzátoru, fragmentaci nosiče katalyzátoru a morfogenezi částice polymeru.
