The isothermal chemical reactor with axial dispersion and with kinetic of the 1st order is a linear system with distributed parameters. The mathematical model was created first with four combinations of two boundary conditions. The second step was model normalization based on unit reactor length and unit time delay. The final models has input as concentration of incoming substance, output as concentration of outgoing substance, Peclet criteria as dispersion parameter and relative rate constant as kinetics parameter. Applying Laplace transform to given four models we obtain four different transcendent transfer functions. They are studied both as complex functions and in frequency domain. The frequency characteristics are compared and the boundary condition effect is discussed.
