The biological treatment of styrene waste gas in a trickle?bed filter (TBF) was investigated. Bioreaktor se skládal z dělené skleněné trubky o vnitřním průměru 150 mm a byl naplněný Pall kroužky o průměru 25 mm. Cílem studie bylo zjistit vliv doby zdržení při konstantní vstupní koncentraci na provozní charakteristiky reaktoru. Bioreaktor byl inokulován směsnou mikrobní kulturou a byl zatěžován styrenem o koncentraci 100 mg.m?3. Doba zdržení byla měněna v rozsahu 53 ? 13 s. Maximální eliminační kapacita byla 11,3 gC.m?3.h?1 při zátěži 18,6 gC.m?3.h?1.
