The text describes the projected research device intended mainly for testing of structural materials for helium cooled nuclear reactors (High Temperature Reactor ? HTR or Gas Cooled Fast Reactor ? GFR). The High Temperature Helium Loop (HTHL) for operation in research reactor LVR-15 in UJV Řež is recently under preparation. Pure helium will be used as working medium in he HTHL. Its main physical parameters are the pressure of 7MPa, max. temperature in the test section 1000°C and the flow rate 37,8 kg/h. HTHL will include helium purification system, system of impurities dosage (e.g. CO, CO2, H2, H2O, O2, N2, CH4) and helium sampling. Helium purification experiments and testing of materials under the simulated High Temperature Reactor (HTR) conditions will take place in HTHL in the future.
