A study of hydrotreating process in a bench-scale reactor is often complicated by variations in catalyst condition, reactor dynamics and intra- and interphase oil transport phenomena. Laboratory investigations were carried out in a cocurrent down-flow trickle-bed reactor over a wide range of operating conditions using straight run atmospheric gas oil as feedstock. Upon experiments carried out in the tube reactor 478 mm long, 22 mm ID, fitted with central thermowell, the isothermal zone was approximately 60 mm long. The temperatures measured by thermocouples in thermowell corresponded to those measured by moveable thermocouple placed directly in the catalyst bed. Temperature profiles of catalyst bed were very slightly affected by feed rate and pressure of the reactor. Studium hydrogenační rafinace ropných frakcí v laboratorním zkrápěném reaktoru je často komplikováno změnami ve stavu katalyzátoru, dynamikou reaktoru a intra- a interfázovými transportními jevy. V širokém rozsahu reakčních podmínek bylo zkoumáno chování laboratorního souproudého zkrápěného reaktoru určeného pro hydrorafinaci plynových olejů. Reaktor obsahující i předehřívač byl 478 mm dlouhý, měl vnitřní průměr 22 mm. Izotermní zóna v tomto reaktoru byla jen 60 mm dlouhá. Teploty měřené v termotrubce procházející středem reaktoru odpovídaly teplotám naměřeným posuvným termočlánkem, který byl umístěn přímo v loži katalyzátoru. Teplotní profily v loži katalyzátoru byly jen málo ovlivňovány množstvím nastřikované suroviny nebo reakčním tlakem.
