One of the goals of presented work was to prepare single TiO2 layers on SiO2/glass substrate with different porosity using four different sols (sol C and D for porous and sol L and R for non-porous titania layers). For better comparison of titania layers with different morphological properties it is very useful to keep one parameter constant. In our case it was the mass of TiO2 in the layers.
