A pot experiment with Avena sativa L. was carried out to examine the effect of two levels of nickel nutrition (20 and 80 mg Ni.kg-1 soil) with various accompanying mobile anions in the fertilizer (NO3-, Cl- and SO42-) on the nickel content in the dry matter of panicles, stems, upper green leaves, lower yellowing leaves and roots. Increase of nickel content was identified in the variant with the NiSO4 nutrition in comparison with the groups where Ni(NO3)2 and NiCl2 nutrition was used. This had a significant effect, particularly in the case of the higher dose of NiSO4. The nickel contents in the dry matter of panicles, stems, upper green leaves and lower yellow leaves of the oat plants were significantly higher, whereas a significantly higher nickel content in the case of lower intensity of NiSO4 nutrition was identified in the roots as compared with the lower dose of NiCl2 nutrition.
