Chlortoluron transport was studied in five different soil types and under different climate conditions. Resulting chlortoluron distributions in the soil profilesshow considerable differences between herbicide transports in varyingsol types. The BPS mathematical model (Kozák and Vacek, 1996) was used to simulate chlortoluron transport. The simulated chlorotluron concentrations approximately follow the measured data except in the Greyic Phaozem, where a preferential flow probably highly influenced solution transport.
