dcterms:description
Pot experiments were set up at three different soils [Chernozems (Zntotal=74.5 mg.kg-1), Luvisols (Zntotal=41.5 mg.kg-1), and Fluvisols (Zntotal=26.0 mg.kg-1)], and the addition of eight months incubated sewage sludge (20oC, access and lack of air) treated by different ameliorative compounds were tested. The lime addition into sludge led to lower mean Zn uptake under addition of both aerobically and anaerobically incubated sludge. Bentonite addition showed very mild effect on Zn accumulation. Presented values showed slightly better response of aerobically treated sludge.
