One of many important task of research in branch of reliability special military technique are problems of a “certification-by-analysis” which is process to reduce unexpected failures during experimental testing that will, in turn, accelerate army structural certification. The goal is early identification and avoidance of conceptual and preliminary design problems on new and sustaining vehicle programs using a “design-by-analysis” process that includes the commercial structural sizing software. This text suggests a way to improve reliability of analysis tools so that eventually the special technique industry will to be able to reduce specific architecture testing. The text is not focus on the evaluation of analysis methods, but rather on how to increase confidence in the predictions made with any given analysis method and the software that implements it.
