dcterms:description
The optical systems with varying magnification (zoom lenses) are widely used with telescopic sights, nowadays. Since the telescopic sights of sniper rifle are supposed to be utilized under all meteorological conditions and are extremely stressed by the shot, the application of complex optical systems puts the enhanced requirements on accuracy and robustness of mechanical design of the sight. The goal of the paper is to imply the relevant method for valuation of quality of telescopic sights and determonation of sight behavior during shot. The results of final study could be used for optimization of mechanical design of respektive telescopic sight as well as its mount to the weapon.
