The aim of the study was to determine the influence of age hardening of AZ 91 magnesium alloy on fatigue properties. It was shown that the alloy in the state after homogenization annealing has substantially better properties than the alloy after following age hardening which reduces its plastic properties to one half. Comparison of regression of fatigue curves using the Stromeyer function and the Kohout and Věchet function showed better results for the latter of functions.
