Very close relationship between the constant and the exponent of the Paris-Erdogan relation which describes fatigue crack growth rate in the region of stable growth on the range of stress intensity factor, leads to an idea of common intersection point of the Paris straight lines presenting this relation in the log-log fit. The paper shows that the idea should be left due to catastrophically low accuracy of the determination of intersection point position. Velmi úzký vztah mezi konstantou a exponentem Parisovy a Erdoganovy rovnice, která popisuje závislost rychlosti šíření únavových trhlin v oblasti stabilního šíření na rozkmitu faktoru intenzity napětí, vede k představě společného průsečíku Parisových přímek reprezentujících tuto závislost v bilogaritmických souřadnicích. Příspěvek dokazuje, že vzhledem ke katastrofálně nízké přesnosti určení polohy tohoto průsečíku je třeba tuto představu opustit.
