dcterms:description
Fluorophore types and their photochemical stability has been tested in three samples of humic acids (HA) and four types of fulvic acids (FA) extracted from upper soil horizons in forest mountain ecosystems. HA weak native fluorescence was increasing significantly under irradiation in the first 12 hours, fluorophores present in fulvic acid were uniformly degraded from the beginning of irradiation. Neither native fluorescence nor photochemical stability of fluorophores were affected by addition of metal (ferric, aluminium) ions to the studied samples.
