The main objective of the present study was to investigate the effects of 17 α -methyltestosterone treatment upon the testicular germ cells of gynogenetic masculinized neomale common carp (Cyprinus carpio L.) in comparison with diploid carp. Gynogenetický plůdek kapra obecného (průměrná hmotnost, BW, 2.6?0.3 g; průměrná celková délka, 10.4?0.5 cm) byl krmen po dobu 40 dnů 17 α -methyltestosteronem (MT) v dávce 100 mg kg1. Krmení plůdku MT vedlo k indukci zvratu pohlaví v rozmezí od 61.5 do 100%.
