The paper is a continuation of the contribution presented at CERME4 conference %22Developing mathematics teacher's competence%22. It covers the issue of professional development of teachers and mechanisms for enhancement of teaching. In the centre of our attention is qualified pedagogical reflection and exploration of how this reflection differs from person to person and how confrontation of various points of view in the process of joint reflection can contribute to any change of beliefs of its individual participants. Článek je pokračování příspěvku předneseného na konferenci CERME4 %22Vývoj kompetencí učitelů matematiky%22. Zabývá se profesním vývojem učitelů a zlepšováním jejich vyučování. Zabýváme se zde kolektivní reflexí a zkoumáním toho, jak se tato reflexe u jednotlivých osob liší a jak konfrontace různých hledisek v procesu společné reflexe přispívá ke změně přesvědčení jejích účastníků.
