The contribution deals with TiO2 films prepared by pulsed laser deposition (PLD). According to deposition conditions the structure can be amorphous, anatase, rutile or mixed. We propose an enhanced version of PLD with deposition on substrates cooled below room temperature. Phase transformation of amorphous TiO2 to crystalline permits controlling of phase composition in dependence on annealing process parameters and initial morphology.
