dcterms:description
The software implements a mathematical model of two-phase non-Newtonian fluid flow. The flowing medium is porous and allows perfusion of a liquid, that is can seep out of given parts of the domain boundary. The constitutive relation corresponds to a rheological fluid, where the viscosity depends on the deviator of velocity deformation tensor. The movement and deformation are described by the vector of skeleton fluid velocity, the fluid pressure, and the volume deformation of the skeleton. The strong material nonlinearity, i.e. dependence of the material coefficients such as the permeability, compressibility, or viscosity on the velocity, pressure, porosity and temperature is treated by employing a fixed point iterative scheme, which results after attaining a specified convergence in the stationary solution of the problem. On the walls the Navier slip condition can be applied, as well as the no-slip (Dirichlet) boundary conditions. Various convergence parameters and physical indicators, such as inlet and outlet flow rates, amount of liquid seepage, pressure field, evolution of solution-dependent material parameters etc. can be stored in graphical or text logs.
