The study is focused on biomechanical analysis of surgical treatment of human pelvis injuries. Special attention is paid to sacral bone fractures. The orthopaedic plastic model of male pelvis was utilised and subjected to well defined mechanical loading. Its deformations were analysed using non-invasive optical methods based on correlation of images from multiple cameras. Two types of sacral bone fracture fixations were studied, namely iliosacral screws and transiliac fixator.
