Computer simulations based on stochastic interpretation of real morphology allow us to pursue the effect of stiffness and elasticity of cytoskeleton or extracellular matrix on mechanical behaviour of a whole organ (e.g. vascular wall). Conversely, description of mechanical processes at a macroscopic level leads to prediction of hypothetical events which would correlate with these changes at a micro- or even nanoscopic scale. Počítačové modelování haldkého svalo založené na stochastické interpretaci reálné morfologie umožňuje modelovat vliv tuhosti a elasticity cytoskeletu a mezibuněčné hmoty na mechanické chování celého orgánu (např. cévní stěny). Naopak, popis mechanických procesů na makroskopické úrovni vede k predikci odpovídajících jevů na mikro- či nanoškále.
