Experimental verification of thermoelastic effect is performed with the aim to calibrate the device for accurate setting of position built in our laboratory. The time evolution of temperature and dilatation of the action element was measured for a sufficient spectrum of field current parameters (amplitude and frequency). The resultant graphs were compared with results obtained by numerical simulation.
