All electrical machines generate losses in form of heat dissipated unusefully. Obviously, this quantity of heat must be cleared away to prevent damage of the machine. This paper presents the coupled field analyses (elmag-thermal) of stator coil as an example of necessary calculations anterior machine fabrication. We used so called load transfer coupled physics analyses which are combination of analyses from different engineering disciplines that interact to solve a global engineering problem.
