Our department cooperates with the Škoda Electric Company on a squirrel cage asynchronous machine which is designed for traction purposes. The asynchronous machine will be powered by a frequency converter. Due to this fact the supply voltage frequency could be the same as a short circuit ring natural frequency. In this case the rotor bars can be broken away from the ring in a very short time. In this paper the typical mode of operation of a locomotive is analyzed. The aim is to determine the expected frequency of various modes of operation and choose the dangerous frequency of a supply source. This dangerous frequency has to be skipped as fast as possible. Naše oddělení spolupracuje se ŠKODA ELECTRIC na asynchronním stroji s klecí nakrátko pro trakční účely. Asynchronní stroj bude napájen frekvenčním měničem. Kvůli tomuto faktu mohou být shodné frekvence napájení a vlastní frekvence klece nakrátko. V tomto případě může dojít k odtržení tyčí od kruhu ve velmi krátkém čase. V tomto příspěvku je analyzován typický provozní stav lokomotivy. Cílem pak je určit očekávatelné frekvence v různých režimech provozu a určit nebezpečné fekvence napájecího zdroje. Tyto nebezpečné frekvence je pak třeba přeskočit tak rychle jak je jen možné.
