The paper deals with solution of the induction heating and corresponding thermoelastic displacements in axi-symmet-ric bodies applied to problems of the assembly and disassembly of hot-pressed joints. The aim is to find such arrangement of the inductor and heated component that the maximum temperature dilatation is reached along the internal circumference of the body under the most convenient conditions. The task is treated as a weakly coupled electromagnetic-temperature-thermoelastic problem.
