dcterms:description
Adhesive bonding is the most widely used method of non-dismountable joining of dissimilar materials. A series of experiments were performed on different types of adhesive joints between metal, composite and ceramic, whereas the average loading capacities were investigated above all. Consequently, simplified numerical analyses were computed. This paper deals with comparing of different types of numerical models, which can be utilized for modelling and computing of adhesive joints with the emphasis on induced stresses in the adhesive layer after loading.
