This article looks into numerical simulation of flow in the inlet part of the annular tube channel. Various profiles of turbulence in the inlet part of the annular tube channel are specified for various inlet velocities (Re 44000 and 89200) and turbulence intensity. Turbulence was modeled using the LES model. The real spacer geometry was simplified to ?tube? shape in the experimental measurements; the spacer was modeled as thin and solid feature in the numerical simulation.
