Electric energy produced in PV systems comes from the sun and producing of energy doesn’t cause any harmful effect to the environment. Indispensable amount of energy has to be spent in the course of manufacturing of PV module and other system components.Additional deal of energy is consumed during designing and mounting of photovoltaic system. Produced amount of electric energy must be higher than the sum of energy inserted into production. Energy pay-back time was established as measurable parameter for assessment of different technologies. It represents time in which the certain photovoltaic system generates the same amount of energy that was used for complete production, assembling of whole system and for its dismounting after expiration of lifetime.
