This chapter discusses the impact of economic crisis on HRM and major changes which have developed in the field of HR in enterprises of the globalized world. This article aims to highlight the key position of HRM in the times of economic crisis; to highlight the role of international HRM (with respect to the multicultural business environment) and its interconnection with the aspects of globalization; and to emphasize the influence and impact of the economic crisis on selected HR activities of enterprises, which in turn influenced the functioning of the enterprises as well as their strategic and operational framework. The methodological basis for the chapter will be the analysis of secondary sources, particularly research reports, studies, professional articles and other literature.
