The selected set of twenty inter-line F1 hybrids of Brassica napus L. was evaluated for their capacity to produce microspore-derived doubled haploid (DH) plants subsequently utilized in the breeding „Czech Winter Rape''. All tested genotypes were able to produce microspore-derived embryos based on the standardized protocol previously adopted for the Czech winter rape varieties/breeding lines; nevertheless, significant differences were found in the frequency of microspore-derived embryos production as related to particular genotypes. However, the fertile dihaploid DH regenerants were obtained only in 12 hybrid lines of this set. The other 8 lines failed to produce fertile DH plants for several reasons, mainly due to altered morphology of microspore embryos connected with limited germination/conversion potential and due to unsuccessful colchicine treatment resulting in haploid or mixoploid (chimeric) regenerants exhibiting partial or full sterility. In general, colchicine treatment induced diploid Vybraný soubor 20 meziliniových F1 hybridů Brassica napus L. bylo hodnoceno z hlediska jejich schopnosti produkovat dihaploidní (DH) rostliny odvozené z mikrospórové kultury následně využitých ve šlechtitelském projektu Česká Řepka. Všechny testované genotypy byly schopny regenerovat embrya z mikrospór podle standardizovaného protokolu, který byl již dříve upraven pro odrůdy/šlechtitelské linie České Řepky; byly zjištěny významné rozdíly v tvorbě embryí mezi jednotlivými genotypy. Fertilní DH regeneranti byly získáni z 12 linií souboru. Ostaních 8 linií v podstatě netvořilo DH rostliny z různých důvodů, zejména v důsledku změněné morfologie mikrosporórových embryí ve spojení s omezenou schopností klíčení/konverze a v důsledku neúspěšného ošetření kolchicinem, které mělo za následek haploidní nebo mixoploidní (chimerické) regeneranty vykazující částečnou nebo úplnou sterilitu.
