Small diameter vascular grafts incorporating long term nitric oxide (NO) release were prepared by electrospinning. Polycaprolactone (PCL) was modified by the addition of novel, NO-releasing compounds. An initial burst of NO was measured leading to long term release during 42 days at 37°C in PBS.
