The composite structures with woven reinforcement show very good results of their properties in many tests. So that is why the use of those composites is in expansion. They can replace the classical materials and their production and recycling is more ecological. The research of composite structures with knitted reinforcement is in progress currently. It is supposed that the structure of knitted fabric in composite materials can be more flexible than the woven fabric and so the use of these composites can be in other application fields, where the emphasis is put into more resistance to bending. The trait of these knitted composites is that their density is lower than a density of basic reinforcement. This allows the use of these composites in unweighted structures.
