Formation of paper is evoked by solving of the device which is able to detect faults in narrow textiles. In the Laboratory of Digital Image Processing at the Department of Measurement we are trying to develop intelligent device (sensor) for faults searching. This could increase labour productivity in textile industry. In the paper the thesis are described and project is analysed from several points of view.
