This paper is focused on the interaction of a synthetic jet array with a laminar channel flow. The study is experimental and measurements of the flow field have been performed with water as a working fluid. For a problem investigation, hot wire anemometry (HWA), laser Doppler vibrometry (LDV) and particle image velocimetry (PIV) were used. The present results confirmed that the channel flow can be effectively controlled by means of the synthetic jet array.
