The paper presents a computer analysis of deformation behaviour of the vacuum gripping element – suction cup – during the combine load by radial and axial forces with distant points of application, when the suction cup is moreover loaded by tilting moment in relation to applications in service robotics of the mobile chassis those are destined for the motion on vertical walls (e.g. autonomous washing and inspection activities at inaccessible places of high-rise buildings with glass facade).
