High-strength sheets take a very important place namely in the automotive industry. Their still increasing rate is given by means of pressure on cars producers above all from to improve passive safety (higher car-body stiffness) and lowering weight. From the semi-products preparation point of view take besides cutting technologies still larger place also other (non-convectional) parting technologies (namely laser and plasma). Comparison of individual methods of parting from the plastic properties point of view is the subject of this paper. High-strength sheets take a very important place namely in the automotive industry.
