The effect of sewage sludge amended soil, containing toxic contaminants mainly heavy metals was investigated in context of phytoremediation cleaning of such soil by cultivation of flax/linseed plants. Using AAS method we have analyzed content of Cd, Pb and Zn metals in soil and parts of flax plants (roots, stem, leaf, capsule and seeds). There were genotype dependent differences in accumulation, the maximal uptake was achieved by cv. Jitka, while lowest by Viking, Super and Lola. The highest accumulation was recorded in case of Zn, followed by Pb and Cd. Leaf was the organ with highest accumulation of all metals. Byl studován vliv zeminy obsahující odpadní kaly s obsahem toxických látek především těžkých kovů v kontextu fytoremediačního číštění pomocí pěstování rostlin lnu. S využitím atomové absorbční spektrometrie byly stanoveny obsahy tří sledovaných těžkých kovů Cd, Pb a Zn ve stronku, kořenech, listech, tobolkách a semenech lnu. byly zjištěny genotypové rozdíly, jako odrůda s největší akumulační schopností byla zjištěna cv. Jitka, naopak nejmenší cv. Viking, Super a Lola. Největší hladina příjmu byla zjištěna v případě Zn, následována Pb a Cd, jako orgán s největší akumulací těchto prvků byl zjištěn list.
