Dispersní vícenásobné reflexe mohou být realizovány buď v jednom elasticky ohnutém krystalu, nebo pomocí dvou nezávislých krystalů ve formě sendviče. Monochromátory pracující na takovéto bázi poskytují co do rozlišení a kolimace monochromatický svazek vynikajících parametrů a mohou být využity v neutronové difraktometrii a spektrometrii s vysokým rozlišením a také v neutronové radiografii. Použitím dvou krystalových desek ve formě sendviče, lze získat libovolnou vlnovou délku monochromatických neutronů pro libovolný rozptylový úhel. Difrakční elementy takovéhoto typu mohou být také použity jako neutronové analyzátory s vysokým rozlišením. Dispersive multiple reflections can be realized in one bent-perfect crystal (BPC) slab or by means of two bent perfect crystal slabs of different cut used as a sandwich. They provide a monochromatic beam of excellent resolution parameters. Many intensive multiple diffraction effects in the thermal region have been found by using elastically BPC slabs of Si which could be practically exploited for high-resolution monochromatization in neutron diffractometry or even in radiography. In the latter case of the sandwich it has been found that a proper combination of two slabs can provide the monochromatic beam of any wavelength and the scattering angle. Depending on the bending radius of the crystal slab (or the sandwich of two slabs) the wavelength resolution and the beam collimation can be continuously adjusted in the range of 1x10-4 - 1x10-3.
