The report summarizes the results of research carried out under contracts ZAK1302037 , ZAK1305056 , ZAK1310002 , ZAK1310036 , concerning the heat treatment of steels to achieve high strength characteristics. In the case of steel 17MnB3 was made tempering diagram for inductively tested samples of sheet with a thickness of 3 mm. Next research work was made on the steel for puncher. The material was delivered from the customer. This steel was carried out extended Jominiho test. Using induction heating was also heat- treated steel LG245. The aim was to make the tempering diagram. The most extensive work was carried out on 7 different steels that provided by the customer in the form of ingots. Steel were hot rolled and cold rolled to plates with the thickness of 8 mm , 6 mm and 4 mm. They were tested in variations of heat treatment to achieve a martensitic structure. After finding the optimal technology of heat treatment of the sheets thus prepared and subsequently subjected to 20% cold reduction. For each processing step were carried out mechanical tests and notched Sharpy tests to determine the transition temperature. Documentation microstructure condition was commonplace.
