Vliv vnějšího znečištění ovzduší na vnitřní korozní agresivitu byla sledována v Národním muzeu. Exponovány byly vzorky mědi, bronzu a stříbra. Pro hodnocení korozního napadení byly použity různé metody včetně analýzy korozních produktů SEM/EDAX. The National Museum is located in one of the most polluted area of Prague City. The effect of outdoor atmospheric pollution on indoor corrosivity had been studied together with evaluation specific indoor corrosion effects. Monitoring of temperature and humidity was carried out at storage spaces and exposure rooms at different levels of building. Various methods of quantitative assessment of corrosion attack in low corrosive indoor climates were performed (mass loss of metallic standard specimens, resistance changes on copper and silver sensors). Visual evaluation and SEM image and EDAX analysis of exposed silver, copper and bronze coupons´ surface was performed. The classification of environments with respect to their corrosivity is important for a rational choice and durability of preventive measures.
