The paper presents a study of hydraulic design and model test of high specific speed three nozzles horizontal Pelton turbine.The basic task was to design hydraulic design of a three nozzle horizontal Pelton turbine with regard to achievement of energy transfer maximum efficiency, and in kinematics aspect, water flow on the bucket and in the turbine housing. Optimized shape of the inlet piping has been designed based on a minimum number of applied segments and minimization of hydraulic losses. This solution enables achieving high values of efficiencies at the turbine price minimization.
