The aim of this paper is to study the process of cooling in plastic profile extrusion. The physical -mathematical model capturing the heat transfer for profile extrusion is described with the boundary conditions which are likely to occur in real extrusion process. There are two examples of real profiles, which are deformated outside the calibrators in the water bath by virtue of an uneven cooling.
