This work deals with enzymatic hydrolysis of waste paper as a raw material for production of liquid biofuels.Hydrolysis was carried out by enzymes from Novozymes. Further, conditions for simultaneous saccharification and fermentation, as a way to increase productivity of hydrolysis, were determined. For this process yeast Saccharomyces cerevisiae was used. The amount of produced ethanol was quantified using HPLC.
