This short paper summarizes the actual state of implementing a new cross-compiler of language C for Xilinx PicoBlaze-3TM processor into its assembler language. Along the architecture discussion, we focus on the implementation of the compiler to support the minimalistic 8-bit processor platform with limited instruction set architecture containing extremely low memory and no data stack operations.
