This paper describes a methodology of iterative creation of 3D environmental model on an embedded system. The system is modeled in Mathworks Simulink and run on an embedded system. The Hardware Abstraction Layer provided by Processor Expert is used for encapsulation of the target embedded system. The Processor Expert is integrated into the Mathworks Simulink and it provides drivers for CPU initialization and necessary peripherals.
