This paper deal with a design of scalable graphical environment for modelling and simulation. Our goal is to develop a graphical environment with easy and extensible architecture that is suitable also for teaching. As a foundation for our work we used Eclipse - a plug-in graphical environment written in Java because it seems to be good compromise between extensibility, speed, and independence on some concrete operating system. In this paper the graph structure for heterogeneous modelling and its connecttion to a simulation system is also introduced.
